Whereas many “Interior Designers” have attended a 4-year college program and/or passed a cumulative testing at the state level, teaching the entirity of re-design and most “from scratch” circumstances; often attaining a “niche” in a specific design that they’re business revolves around, home stylizing is
- Built for the most “average” budgets
- Allows for a larger incorporation of styles, either plural – or at least not just around a niche
- More about about the client than the “brand reputation” of the Interior Designer
- May be from scratch or incorporating a variety of styles or items simulatenously
- Is less about the expense (as in expensive stores) and more about the buget and/or quicker timeline
- Sometimes incorporates re-design using contractors, but is not required
- Creates the opportunity for more people to achieve their own unique ideal lifestyle design
Creatively Staged does offer services from a certified stager, which simply means we understand the industry standards of stagers and many other home stylists across the nation.
We utilize both e-design & in-person options for Home Stylizing. Our process looks like this:
- Color Personality Assessment – for changing or incorporating a varietiy of colors; results explain hues, tints & # of colors or neutrals, and why
- Decor Style Assessment – whether you’re starting from scratch, or wish to incorporate specific items/room layouts
- Design Style Assessment – this offers clients a fresh perspective on what wins them over most in a design, which helps both parties to determine where the focus of the room should be, what will add the most joy to the lifestyle set up, provide vision for now-to-future, and where the budget should be focused, and what elements of a room design will benefit clients most
- Project Consultation
- Project Proposal & Quote, with layers – so clients can determine how far they may wish to go before their budget runs out (See our a la carte or “build my plan” options too)
- The Project proess (differs when it’s a specific type of home such as New Build or Vacation Rental)
- Mood Board (revolves around all responses from 3 assessments), and once approved;
- Vision Board (room layouts), and once approved;
- Sample Board (choices based on budget + Mood Board + Vision Board) and once approved;
- Image Board – if re-design is included, and once approved;
- Style Board (if incorporating pieces in current room) OR Design Board if all/most from scratch
- Client makes purchases & if needed, hires and pays a contractor with renderings provided
- Creatively Staged can assist with set up OR the client may use previous boards to set it up themselves to save money or time
